1971, Cumberland Lodge # 5 moved to its new "Castle Hall" present location at 210 East Russell Street, Fayetteville N.C. We are a working Lodge which answers to Grand Lodge which is the State Association and Supreme Lodge which is the International Association of Knights of Pythias. We are proud to be a part of our community and support it each and everyday. Membership is comprised of professional men in our community i.e. Doctors, Lawyers, Clergy, and everyday business professionals. Cumberland Lodge # 5 has been giving to the betterment of this community along with many others for well over 137 years. It gave to the earthquake victims of Charleston SC in 1886, Galveston, Texas in 1900 when it only knew floods not realizing the true extent of damage. It gave to ARC(Association of Retarded Citizens) locally for many years. Victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2006 and made donations to its members, local community, and world wide charities. We are all about giving back to our families, members and community. He who has the greatest has given it away.
